Cousins, Screwed Up Click members, and staples of the H-Town scene, Z-Ro and Trae definitely took a page from Eazy-E and company when coming up with their stage-name acronym. The two "Assholes By Nature" put it down over 18 thorough tracks on IT IS WHAT IT IS. The production is top-notch as Trae and Z-Ro move seamlessly from the quintessential H-Town syrupy slowed tracks and bluesy funk (à la 8Ball & MJG) to feverish, guitar-driven crunk and even more traditional East Coast gangsta. Hawk, Bulletproof, Jayton, and Lil Boss are also featured.
